Decisions and results

See what changed and what came of it

Each decision can stay connected to the evidence, the approved work and the result that followed.

Open the reasoning behind a change

A useful record lets you answer why the work was proposed, what you authorized and what the external system actually did. You should not have to reconstruct that sequence from a chat transcript.

  1. Evidence

Customers ask whether the bag fits their laptop

Retain the source and distinguish a real observation from an illustrative example.

  2. Decision

Add a fit guide to the product page

Record the reason, checked dimensions and what would count as a useful result.

  3. Approved work

    The reviewed fit-guide revision

Bind approval to this version and the intended page, not any future edit.

  4. External result

Check whether that version was published

Keep the provider response. A timeout alone cannot establish success or failure.

  5. Measured outcome

Compare eligible observations with the retained prediction

Keep the reporting window, actual treatment and reasons a comparison may be excluded.

Illustrative record for the fictional DAYFORM campaign; not a live customer action or measured result.

Approve the change you can inspect

The destination, content and material settings belong with the request for approval. A meaningful revision can invalidate an earlier approval.

A conversation expressing interest in a campaign does not authorize sending it. Sending follows the permissions and approvals you set for the campaign.

Leave uncertainty visible

If a provider stops responding after a request was sent, the action may have happened. A missing receipt is a reason to investigate, not proof that nothing changed.

Signyl retains the unresolved state and the information needed to reconcile it. Partial completion stays partial. It checks what happened before repeating a purchase, publication or send.

Judge the result against the original question

A forecast belongs on the record before the outcome. The measured result shows what actually reached the audience, including deviations from the plan.

Eligibility checks determine whether a result can support a causal score. Descriptive observations remain useful without being relabeled as proof of lift.

Corrections create a new version. Exports preserve the relationship between the evidence, decision, execution and outcome, subject to the source rights and permissions described in your marketing record.
