Signyl / Knowledge

Research that stays useful

Signyl works from sources it can cite and keeps the material behind its recommendations available to inspect.

Bring the material that makes the work better

Product documentation, customer research, previous campaigns and approved brand references can give an assignment a useful starting point. Public research and supported platform documentation contribute different kinds of evidence.

Signyl keeps the purpose and limits of each source visible. A current product specification can establish a product fact; an academic result may not transfer to your audience; an admired campaign can be a creative reference without proving effectiveness.

Read the source behind the recommendation

  • What it says

Open the passage or file behind a claim and see how it supports the recommendation.

  • When it applies

Check the date, version, audience and context. A platform procedure that was correct last year may need to be replaced.

  • What is missing

An unavailable document, incomplete interview or missing measurement remains a limitation. It is not an invitation to invent the absent detail.

Put references into the assignment

Specialists begin with the relevant sources, brief and business context. They carry forward what is known and keep open questions visible.

Review can then check a factual claim against its source and distinguish it from a proposal. Creative work still needs judgment; collecting references does not by itself establish taste.

Creative work and review ↗

Maintain the methods as well as the library

Signyl keeps its working methods alongside the references that inform them. Revised methods are checked against relevant examples before they replace a version the work already uses.

Bring specialist references or a repeatable way your team works. Use them to shape an existing practice or develop an additional one, with review before it is enabled.

How practices improve ↗

Correct, remove and reuse sources deliberately

Replace an outdated source while retaining the history needed to understand earlier decisions. Removal and access changes apply to future use under the applicable retention policy.

Your private source library stays within its authorized workspace. Exporting a citation does not transfer ownership or redistribution rights in the underlying source.
