Last updated: May 8, 2026.
These terms supersede any prior terms posted at signylai.com/terms or signylai.com/terms-of-use as of May 8, 2026.
Acceptance
By accessing or interacting with signylai.com, any subdomain, any embed of Signyl content, any feed, API, sitemap, or asset served from a Signyl domain, or by creating a Signyl account, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and any organization, employer, contractor, agent, or system acting on your behalf. If you do not agree, do not use the site or the product.
Defined terms
"Signyl Materials" means, collectively and in the broadest possible sense, every element of the site, the product, and every output of the work that produced them, including but not limited to: source and compiled code; markup; styles; scripts; configuration; copy and prose; headlines and ledes; eyebrow labels; metadata; alt text; original research, abstracts, figures, and citations; visual design, layout grids, typography choices, color palettes, and spacing systems; illustrations, icons, diagrams, chart styles, and mockup compositions; the mascot characters, their visual designs, color schemes, emblems, names, role labels, poses, gestures, expressions, animation patterns, and the system orchestrating their appearance; the brand identity, wordmark, logo, and trade dress; the agent-team metaphor; the specialist taxonomy and the names assigned to specialists or capabilities; deliverable mockups and the formats they imply; interaction patterns and motion design; the underlying ideas, concepts, methodologies, frameworks, structures, sequences, and conventions embodied in any of the foregoing; and any future versions, updates, derivatives, and translations thereof, in any medium or technology now known or later developed.
Ownership
All Signyl Materials are owned by Signyl LLC (New York), its contributors, or its licensors. All rights are reserved worldwide unless explicitly granted in writing. No license is granted by implication, estoppel, exhaustion, or otherwise. Nothing on the site or in the product constitutes a waiver of any right.
The customer agreement
By creating a Signyl account, you agree that the work the agent does on your behalf is work you have authorized. You set the guardrails, you approve risky actions before they touch a live account, and you remain responsible for the outcomes of approved work. Signyl operates the platform, the agent, and the surrounding infrastructure.
What you can do
You may view the site in a standard web browser intended for human use, link to public pages, and quote short excerpts with clear attribution to Signyl where required by fair use under the governing law. Press, analysts, and partners may use the Signyl wordmark in editorial contexts that do not imply endorsement, partnership, or affiliation.
As a customer, you may use Signyl to operate the marketing channels you have authority to operate, ingest the brand history you have authority to share, and connect the platforms your organization has authorized you to connect. You may export every file, page, memo, and view the agent produces for you, on demand, in a portable format.
What you cannot do
Without prior written permission from Signyl LLC, you may not, and may not permit any third party to, do any of the following with respect to any Signyl Materials, in whole or in part, in any medium, format, or technology now known or later developed:
- Copy, reproduce, mirror, frame, scrape, crawl beyond standard search indexing that respects robots directives, republish, redistribute, archive in a public or commercial archive, or aggregate.
- Train, fine-tune, retrain, distill, transfer, evaluate, benchmark, calibrate, validate, test, or otherwise inform any machine learning system, including but not limited to language models, image models, multimodal models, retrieval systems, embedding models, ranking systems, agentic systems, or any system that consumes, retrieves, or summarizes web content, whether the resulting model is commercial, open-source, internal, academic, hobbyist, or otherwise.
- Use Signyl Materials as a source, label, gold standard, prompt, example, demonstration, or evaluation target for any model, agent, prompt library, or research output.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, observe to infer, attempt to recreate, or otherwise attempt to derive the source, structure, methods, prompt structures, agent taxonomy, orchestration logic, training procedures, internal prompts, or any non-public information presented or implied on the site or in the product.
- Build, market, demonstrate, raise capital for, or operate any product, service, presentation, pitch, demo, document, course, article, video, podcast, or commercial offering that imitates, substantially resembles, or is derivative of any Signyl Materials, including any work that copies the mascot system, the agent-team metaphor, the specialist taxonomy, the deliverable mockups, the visual layout patterns, the motion design, or any combination of these. Substantial resemblance is presumed infringing.
- Use Signyl Materials, observed product behavior, or any derivative information to develop, train, benchmark, or improve any product, service, agent system, marketing tool, or research output that competes with Signyl, directly or indirectly.
- Pass off any portion of the Signyl Materials as your own original work, including by republishing under a different brand name, by re-illustrating to disguise origin, by paraphrasing or translating, or by combining with other works to create a composite that obscures origin.
- Operate channels you do not have authority to operate, attempt to extract another customer's data, attempt to identify another customer from anonymized product data, or use the agent to investigate a competitor's use of Signyl.
- Remove, obscure, or alter any copyright notice, trademark, attribution, or watermark.
- Use Signyl Materials in any way that disparages Signyl, its customers, its partners, or its employees, or that suggests an association where none exists.
- Send automated traffic to the site outside of standard search crawling that respects robots directives, attempt to bypass rate limits, scrape via headless browsers, or use technical means to circumvent any protection.
- Encourage, facilitate, or knowingly enable any third party to do any of the foregoing.
The acceptable-use policy details prohibited content categories and platform conduct.
Trademarks
"Signyl," the Signyl wordmark, the signal-pulse logo, the names of Signyl specialists, the mascot characters, and any other distinctive marks are trademarks of Signyl LLC, whether registered or unregistered. You may not use these marks in any way that suggests endorsement, sponsorship, partnership, or affiliation, in any way that creates consumer confusion, or in any way that dilutes or tarnishes the marks, without prior written permission. Use in domain names, account handles, product names, app titles, model names, or organization names is prohibited.
Original research
Research published at signylai.com/research is the original intellectual work of Signyl and its named authors. Limited quotation with citation is permitted under fair use. Reproduction, paraphrase, summary, translation, excerpt at length, inclusion in any database, index, training set, retrieval system, or aggregator, and use as input to any model is prohibited without written permission. The same applies to any unpublished or working-paper material referenced on the site.

Annual subscriptions are billed up front, monthly subscriptions are billed in advance for the current period unless the order form says otherwise.
Termination
Either party can terminate the customer agreement at any time. On termination, Signyl ceases new agent activity, retains your account data per the privacy policy, and provides an export of every file, page, memo, and view the agent produced.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Signyl LLC, its members, its contributors, and its contractors are not liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of the site or the product, regardless of the theory of liability and even if advised of the possibility. Direct damages are limited to the greater of one hundred US dollars or the fees paid in the prior twelve months.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Signyl LLC, its members, its contributors, and its contractors from any claim, loss, liability, damage, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the site or the product, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third-party right, including intellectual property rights.
Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any dispute is resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. The parties waive any right to a jury trial.
Survival
The sections covering ownership, what you cannot do, trademarks, original research, notice of infringement, no warranty, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law, and survival continue to apply after you stop using the site, after your customer agreement ends, and after these terms are updated.
Severability and waiver
If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in effect, and the unenforceable provision is reformed to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable while preserving its intent. Failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of the right to enforce it later.
